Apple is gearing up for two major announcement events in October 2026, according to reports from the US. The first event, in the middle of next week, will focus on conquering the living room: the Home Hub smart screen (6 inches, A18 chip, HomeOS, $349-399) competing with Echo Show and Nest Hub; a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K with A19 or A19 Pro chip, Wi-Fi 7, and Ray Tracing ($199-249); and the HomePod mini 2 with S9 chip and new pastel colors ($129-149). A collaboration with LG will bring additional smart home products. The second event, at the end of the month, will include the iPad mini 8 with an 8.7-inch OLED display and A20 Pro chip at 2nm ($599), a 24-inch iMac with M6 chip (from $1,499), Mac Studio with M5 Ultra and up to 512GB RAM, and a MacBook Pro/Ultra with a Tandem OLED touchscreen for the first time in Mac history (from $2,999).
