Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported a drone attack on the Russian capital on Monday evening, October 12. According to his data, Ministry of Defense air defense forces shot down 15 drones heading for Moscow. Emergency services are working at the site of falling debris. Due to restrictions imposed at Vnukovo Airport, three planes traveling from Turkey to Moscow were forced to turn around over Lithuania and return. The article also recalls previous attacks: on the night of October 6, attack drones targeted the Moscow region, hitting the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya. On October 9, drones and small balloons attacked Moscow and the region, and President Vladimir Putin's plane, returning from Turkmenistan, was redirected to St. Petersburg due to a drone threat. Earlier, more than 200 flights were delayed at Moscow airports due to balloons with suspended objects.
