The system, powered by the Opus 5.5 model, produces a daily morning briefing that scans the inbox and calendar, and performs complex background tasks such as scheduling meetings and checking invoices. The agent runs on an isolated cloud computer and connects to over 6,000 plugins. Alongside the excitement, Anthropic emphasizes limitations: it is a research preview version, the system may err in judgment, and background actions consume the monthly usage quota. Access was opened via a waitlist for Pro and Max subscribers in the US only.
