Content creator Lin Fahima (Liniklini) spoke out against Halloween celebrations in Tel Aviv and announced an initiative to set up five tefillin booths, corresponding to the five books of the Torah. In a video shared on her Instagram account she said: 'We will not hide Jewish symbols, on the contrary – as long as the candle burns, it can be fixed.' She referred to videos circulated online that left her 'shocked,' and claimed that tefillin booths are canceled on grounds of indoctrination and religious coercion, while Halloween celebrations are approved. Fahima recalled the events before the October 7 massacre: 'The Simchat Torah hakafot were canceled in advance and Yom Kippur prayers became the most divisive discourse.' At the end of her remarks she said: 'Blessed be the Creator forever that I merited to sanctify His name here.' The article also describes a community event 'Layl Kol HaShchekhim' in central Tel Aviv, attended by over 1,200 revelers and about 150 buildings.
