A routine argument over a parking spot in Kfar Saba escalated on Saturday evening into a serious threats incident centered on a father and son from Kadima-Zoran who were arrested. According to suspicion, the incident began when a woman stood in an available parking spot on a street in the city and asked to keep it for her partner. A Kfar Saba resident who was looking for parking in the area and could not find a free spot asked to park there, but the woman refused to move. The argument between the two escalated when a man arrived at the scene, suspected to be the boyfriend's father, and threatened the driver with a club. A short time later the main suspect arrived, the man's son, drew a handgun he held under license and threatened the driver, threatening to shoot him. The driver called the police, and Kfar Saba station officers quickly located the father and later the son while he was holding the weapon. The two were arrested and taken for investigation. Police are examining the circumstances of the incident, and the main suspect is expected to be brought to court for a hearing on extending his detention.
