Ahmad Tibi declares he will assist the opposition's plan to oust Netanyahu

Ahmad Tibi presented the Joint List's conditions for external support to the next government: adopting a plan to eradicate crime, halting home demolitions, and pursuing a political horizon. Tibi clarified that the Joint List will not allow Netanyahu to form a transitional government.

Chairman of the Joint List faction, MK Ahmad Tibi, presented today (Sunday) his party's conditions for granting external support to the next government. Tibi clarified that the Joint List will not allow Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu to form a transitional government, and that it offers a 'safety net' for the center-left bloc. The key demands include adopting the party's plan to eradicate violence and crime in the Arab sector, a complete halt to home demolitions, and pursuing a political horizon with the Palestinians. Tibi said the current political choice is 'between bad and worse,' and he is aware that the next government will not be a 'peace government.' However, he emphasized that the party will seek 'the point of contact that will serve our society and its interests, without giving up our principles.'
