The Qatari senior heaped special praise on MK Ahmad Tibi, who returned from a one-day visit to Doha for filming an interview on Al Jazeera two days before the elections. The post was published against the backdrop of Shin Bet and police investigations into suspicions of funneling funds from enemy states and election bribery in the Arab society. Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Solberg, ordered the Shin Bet to investigate the suspicions. So far, seven suspects have been arrested in the affair.
