Journalist Raviv Drucker addressed his police investigation on Tuesday evening, after being recorded holding a mobile phone while driving. During his monologue, Drucker sharply criticized police conduct, claiming excessive resources were used against him, and concluded with the statement: 'They framed me! Investigate the investigators!' Drucker began by describing the call he received from police, demanding he come in for questioning despite requesting a ticket. According to him, half an hour later another investigator from the Jerusalem Traffic Division called trying to question him. The next day he arrived for questioning, where an officer and two investigators were waiting specifically for him. Drucker refused to answer questions, saying he would not cooperate with 'the media spin.' The journalist linked the incident to a recent investigation he broadcast about Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, noting he had hoped police would contact him about that investigation rather than 'the two seconds with the phone in hand.' Drucker also addressed the C14 publication about his investigation in real time, saying that during the questioning a push notification from the channel had already gone out. He saved the most striking part for last: he announced that if the case goes to court, he intends to compare the enforcement in his case to instances where politicians were allegedly recorded committing traffic offenses, questioning why Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, Miri Regev, and Bismut were not summoned for driving without seatbelts.
