The Ministry of Health announced the destruction of 53 kilograms of beef products at the 'Super Cheap and Big' butcher shop in the Avshalom industrial zone in the Eshkol Regional Council. During an inspection conducted by ministry supervisors and a veterinarian on behalf of the local authority, severe sanitary deficiencies were discovered: the business operated without licenses, products were found that had been processed in violation of the law (freezing fresh products, thawing meats, grinding and seasoning), and products without manufacturer labeling or expiration dates. The public who purchased unmarked or expired products is asked not to consume them.
