After resuscitation efforts, death of 70-year-old who collapsed on bus determined
A man approximately 70 years old collapsed on bus line 402 on Golda Meir Boulevard in Jerusalem. Medical teams performed prolonged resuscitation and evacuated him to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, where his death was determined. He was a Gur Hasid from Bnei Brak who came to Jerusalem ahead of the Simchat Torah holiday.
A man approximately 70 years old collapsed today (Friday) on bus line 402 at the intersection of Golda Meir Boulevard and Shfa Chaim Street in Jerusalem. Medical teams from United Hatzalah who were called to the scene performed prolonged resuscitation, including electric shocks, and evacuated him while continuing resuscitation to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. At the hospital, doctors were forced to determine his death. According to various reports, he was a Gur Hasid residing in Bnei Brak, who came to Jerusalem ahead of the Simchat Torah holiday to celebrate with the Gur Rebbe. Gershon Ganor, a United Hatzalah medic who was called to the scene, said that passengers on the bus saw the man collapse during the ride.
