He noted that the transfer of votes between blocs is insignificant, and the decisive factor will be voter turnout among supporters.
Political advisor and strategist Nevo Cohen gave an interview to Radio Galei Israel, in which he outlined his view on the key factors determining the outcome of the current election campaign. In his opinion, the decisive factor will not be the transfer of voters between political blocs, which he called insignificant, but the ability of each bloc to ensure the turnout of its supporters. Cohen emphasized that the main task of political forces is to get existing supporters to participate in the elections. He linked the current situation to public fatigue after the last four years, noting that the blocs are so cohesive that substantive arguments are unlikely to change the balance. At the same time, the strategist indicated that mobilizing permanent supporters alone is not enough to win: it is necessary to simultaneously hold onto one's own base and appeal to undecided voters. In his assessment, it is the undecided voters who could become the factor allowing one of the blocs to gain an advantage. "You don't win through your base. The base guarantees you'll reach a tie. Want to win? Bring the doubters," Cohen concluded.
