A year after the disappearance of Christina Downer from Los Angeles, charges were filed against her boyfriend for her murder. Her body has not been found yet. The defendant's girlfriend is charged with aiding in the concealment of the body.
More than a year after the disappearance of Christina Downer, 38, from Los Angeles, the district attorney's office announced the filing of charges against her boyfriend, Delorian Bijon Brandon, 41, for her murder. Another woman, the defendant's girlfriend, is charged with helping to dispose of her body. Downer's body has not been found yet. According to the indictment, the murder occurred on or around September 19, 2025. Downer was reported missing only in December 2025, three months later. Her phone was found after washing ashore in Santa Monica, leading to the transfer of the investigation to the homicide unit. Downer was the sister of Jimmy Pauley, a writer for "Saturday Night Live." Court documents indicate a long-standing conflict among those involved, including requests for restraining orders. Brandon faces life in prison if convicted; Markovsky faces up to three years in prison.
