Survivors of captivity returned today (Wednesday) to October 7 and the massacre carried out by Hamas three years ago, in a series of posts on social media. Eli Sharabi, who will host the national memorial ceremony this evening, shared a photo of his family members — his wife Lian and his two daughters Noya and Yael, who were murdered that day, and his brother Yossi, who was kidnapped and murdered in Gaza after 100 days. Itai Regev, who was kidnapped from the Nova party, described in detail the moments of his abduction and his 54 days in captivity: "At first we didn't really understand what was happening. Within minutes we realized it was something completely different." Sasha Trufanov posted a photo of the massacre victims from Nir Oz, from where he was kidnapped, and expressed longing for his father who was murdered. Agam Almog Goldstein and Elkana Bohbot posted documentation surrounding the memory of the massacre. The posts reflect the personal coping of the survivors with the collective memory, three years later.
