26 incursions into Al-Aqsa and prevention of the call to prayer 150 times at the Ibrahimi Mosque during September

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments documented 26 incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the prevention of the call to prayer 150 times at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron during September, in addition to its closure for 6 days under the pretext of Jewish holidays. Demands to open Al-Aqsa for Saturday incursions escalated, and Talmudic rituals were organized in its courtyards.

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments issued a report on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, documenting the escalation of Israeli incursions into the Al-Aqsa and Ibrahimi Mosques during the past month of September. The report recorded 26 incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque by occupation forces and settlers, the prevention of the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron 150 times, and its complete closure for 6 days under the pretext of Jewish holidays. The ministry pointed to increasing demands from extremist "Temple organizations" to open Al-Aqsa for settler incursions on Saturdays to impose temporal and spatial division. Settlers also organized collective rituals at the Bab al-Rahma cemetery adjacent to the eastern wall, including blowing a trumpet over Muslim graves under heavy guard. Talmudic practices escalated inside the Al-Aqsa courtyards, such as performing prostrations, public prayers, and supplications for occupation soldiers opposite the Dome of the Rock. The occupation continued to close the eastern gate of the Ibrahimi Mosque and cover its windows with screens since the beginning of 2025. The attacks extended to other mosques, where settlers burned a mosque in Nablus, stormed another in Madama, and threw gas canisters at worshippers.
