21-year-old seriously wounded in stabbing near Ma'ale Adumim; criminal background

A severe violent incident occurred this evening (Saturday) on Highway 417 near Ma'ale Adumim, during which a 21-year-old man, a resident of East Jerusalem, was stabbed. The victim was taken to Hadassah Har HaTzofim Hospital in serious condition with a penetrating wound. Officers from the Ma'ale Adumim police station arrested a suspect, a resident of East Jerusalem in his 30s, who was transferred for questioning. Police stated that the background of the incident is criminal. Emergency medic Guy Cohen from Magen David Adom reported that the victim was semi-conscious and received medical treatment including bandages and bleeding control.
