13 attacks carried out by occupation forces and settlers on the olive season in four Palestinian governorates

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 13 attacks by occupation forces and settlers against olive farmers in Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Nablus, including gunfire, tree destruction, and crop theft, amid warnings of systematic restrictions on Palestinian agricultural activity.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented on Wednesday 13 attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces and settlers against farmers and olive pickers in four Palestinian governorates: Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah and al-Bireh, and Nablus, during the olive harvest season. The attacks varied between gunfire and threats with weapons, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, destroying olive trees and bulldozing land, stealing crops and agricultural equipment, and releasing livestock into fields. In Hebron, settlers smashed 27 olive trees in Wadi al-Sur west of Surif. In Bethlehem, occupation forces fired bullets towards olive pickers in Tuqu' without injuries. In Ramallah, settlers raided lands in Umm Safa, while settlers stole olive fruits in Douma, Nablus. The commission warned that the repeated attacks reflect a pattern of restrictions on Palestinian agricultural activity, with direct participation of occupation forces or providing protection for settlers.
