"You have no ability to understand": Eitan Mor against the leftist who criticized his father

Former hostage Eitan Mor attacked left-wing activist Amir Shperling after Shperling claimed that his father did not care that his son was held captive by Hamas. Mor clarified that his father's demands for military pressure brought him home.

Former hostage Eitan Mor came out against left-wing activist Amir Shperling, after Shperling claimed that Mor's father, Tzvi Mor, 'didn't really care that his son was being held in Hamas tunnels.' In response, Eitan Mor posted on his Instagram account, clarifying that it was precisely his father's demands to apply military pressure on Gaza that led to his release. Mor wrote: 'Hamas does not return hostages voluntarily, Hamas is not moved by protests and would not have come to the negotiating table without immense military pressure on Gaza City itself, which my father demanded throughout the war.' The comments followed an interview Shperling gave to i24, in which he defended a previous tweet he published against Tzvi Mor. The article notes that Tzvi Mor opposed a prisoner exchange deal as early as October 2023, and called for a military operation in the style of Operation Entebbe.
