"You concealed contacts to turn him into a state witness": The new demand in the 'Bild' affair

Lawyers for Ari Rosenfeld, a defendant in the case involving the leak of classified documents to 'Bild', are demanding that the prosecution hand over all materials and versions provided by Eli Feldstein during negotiations conducted with him in November 2024 for state witness status. In a letter sent by attorneys Uri Korv, Yehoshua Lemberger, and Sivan Russo to the Central District Prosecutor's Office, they argue that the publication reveals the existence of additional investigation materials not provided to the defense. According to them, the defense was concealed the very fact that negotiations were held to turn Feldstein into a state witness, as well as the materials provided during those negotiations, including a "new and additional false version" given by Feldstein. The attorneys also refer to information Feldstein provided about Tzachi Braverman and the nighttime meeting in the Kirya parking lot, claiming that investigators knew Braverman's identity as early as November 2024 but concealed it from the defense. They demand to receive all materials related to the negotiations with Feldstein and all versions he provided during them, as well as materials concerning the decision not to investigate the information about Braverman in real time. The attorneys allege serious and improper conduct contrary to the law.
