Yariv Lerner, George Vror and Avi Alka'im in talks to acquire Arkia: Reached preliminary outline with Avi Nakash and the workers

A group of three businessmen – Yariv Lerner, Avi Alka'im and George Vror – has reached a preliminary outline agreement to acquire Arkia Airlines. The deal includes injecting tens of millions of dollars into the company, which has an equity deficit of $50-60 million. However, obstacles remain from the Nakash brothers and the workers' corporation, which holds 22% of shares and veto rights. The other Nakash brothers, Joe and Rafi, are holding talks with other parties and working to dilute worker holdings, leading to a sharp conflict.

A group of three businessmen – Yariv Lerner, Avi Alka'im and George Vror – has reached a preliminary outline agreement to acquire Arkia Airlines. The outline was signed by Vror and Alka'im through a joint company, and they have reached an agreement with Avi Nakash and the workers' corporation Tovt, which holds 22% of the company's shares and veto rights. The deal includes injecting tens of millions of dollars into Arkia, which has an equity deficit of $50-60 million. However, obstacles remain: the other brothers, Joe and Rafi Nakash, are holding talks with other parties and working to dilute worker holdings, leading to a sharp conflict. Tovt chairman Avi Adari claimed in a letter to workers that the Nakash family blocked a deal with investor Eliot Zamel, who was willing to invest 150 million shekels, and that they intend to approve a decision that would eliminate the workers' corporations. The chance of a deal with Israir is low due to the need for immediate injection and approval from the Competition Authority.
