The Prince of Wales, William, made a surprise appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," in a special edition dedicated to the Earthshot Prize. The host invited the prince to join the panel on the couch, to the audience's surprise. Joining the prince were actress Cate Blanchett, activist Robert Irwin, and actress Hannah Waddingham. Together, they discussed the need to combine optimism with urgency in addressing the climate crisis. The conversation also turned personal: William spoke about his support for Aston Villa and his love for Christopher Nolan films. The Earthshot Prize was established by the prince in 2020, inspired by President Kennedy's "Moonshot" project, and awards one million pounds to each of five winners. The prince has committed to continuing to promote the prize until 2030. This year's awards ceremony is expected in November in Mumbai, India.
