Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Noam Sohlberg, clarified that the elections for the 26th Knesset were conducted properly and that their results will be respected, despite the Shin Bet investigation into suspected foreign funding. Eisenkot welcomed the statement, while Likud attacked.

Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Noam Sohlberg, stated in an official declaration that the elections for the 26th Knesset were conducted properly and that their results will be respected. Sohlberg, speaking alongside Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and Shin Bet Director David Zini, addressed the suspicions of foreign funding intended to influence the election campaign and said these are mere suspicions that do not undermine the election results as a whole. He emphasized that the Shin Bet investigation is in a covert stage and based on classified information, and that most publications on the matter are incorrect. Sohlberg noted that a joint team will be established to investigate the truth, and the official results will be published next Wednesday. In response, Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot welcomed the statement and said, "The vile and malicious attempt to deny the election results has failed." Conversely, Likud attacked Sohlberg, claiming that only 4,612 votes separated the transfer of a seat from Ra'am to the right-wing bloc, and that "a dark cloud hangs over the election results."
