Reserve Brigadier General Hanan Geffen, former commander of Unit 8200, warned in an interview with News 14 about quiet negotiations between the US and Iran being conducted without Israel's knowledge, which could leave the ballistic missile threat unaddressed.

Reserve Brigadier General Hanan Geffen, former commander of Unit 8200, warned in an interview with News 14 about quiet negotiations that he claims are taking place between the United States and Iran without Israel's knowledge. According to him, the Americans may settle for a limited strike on nuclear facilities and return to the negotiating table, leaving the Iranian ballistic missile threat unanswered. Geffen warned that such conduct could legitimize Tehran's missile array. In the interview, Geffen also addressed Iranian efforts to rebuild its proxies in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, and the threat to Saudi Arabia from the Houthis.
