Went to harvest corn - and discovered something that looks like a UFO

A mysterious metal object over three meters in diameter was discovered in a cornfield in Minnesota. Experts suspect it is a remnant of a Chinese rocket launched in September. The object was moved to a secure location, and police clarified there is no danger to the public.

A mysterious metal object over three meters in diameter was discovered in a cornfield in Stevens County, Minnesota, prompting federal authorities to intervene. Officers who arrived at the scene found the object among the corn stalks, appearing partially charred. Police assessed that it might be space debris that survived atmospheric entry and clarified there is no danger to the public. The object was moved to a secure location. According to a report in the Minnesota Star Tribune, three space experts believe it is a remnant of a Chinese Zhuque-2E rocket, launched on September 15 by the Chinese space company LandSpace. The experts found that the rocket's return trajectory roughly matched the discovery area. The sheriff's office referred questions to the U.S. State Department. The Chinese company has not confirmed that the object belongs to its rocket, and authorities have not issued an official identification. The discovery sparked amused reactions on social media, but the most likely explanation, according to the article, is a rocket remnant rather than an alien visit.
