A terror cell from the Jenin area, apprehended this morning (Tuesday), planned to launch rockets at Israeli soldiers and civilians, as reported on i24NEWS' central edition. For months, the suspects attempted to produce rockets inside an electrical panel factory. One suspect told investigators that about four months ago, a friend suggested producing a rocket and brought 3 kilograms of potassium, three tubes with caps. The idea was to insert the tubes into each other, fill them with explosives, and launch them. According to him, the manufacturing instructions were found on Telegram. The suspect described a process of melting sugar, adding potassium and charcoal crumbs from a hookah, casting into a tube, and connecting a cable to a battery. The plan was to stretch two cables twenty meters long and connect them to the rocket. One suspect has a security background. The suspects provided details about the Telegram source that supplied the instructions. An indictment against them is expected in the coming days.
