Two teenagers hit by car in Shgeiv Shalom: 17-year-old in serious condition

Two teenagers riding electric bicycles were hit by a car in the Bedouin town of Shgeiv Shalom in the Negev. A 17-year-old boy was evacuated in serious condition with multi-system injuries, and a 15-year-old boy in moderate condition with a head injury. MDA teams provided initial treatment and evacuated them to Soroka Hospital.

A serious road accident occurred this evening (Saturday night) in the Bedouin town of Shgeiv Shalom in the Negev, when a car struck two teenagers riding electric bicycles. MDA teams were called to the scene and provided initial medical treatment. A 17-year-old boy was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva in serious condition with multi-system injuries, fully conscious and in stable condition. Another 15-year-old boy was evacuated in moderate condition with a head injury. MDA medics described that one of the teenagers was lying on the road after the impact. The incident took place in a Bedouin town in the Negev, and the circumstances are being investigated.
