The Prisoners' Media Office reported on Thursday that two Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip were injured during a suppression operation carried out by occupation forces inside Janot prison. The first was injured with burns on his foot from a gas canister, and the second suffered a nervous breakdown. The office warned of the spread of scabies among prisoners amid a severe shortage of medicine and treatment and declining immunity. It also noted a shortage of food quantities, a decline in hygiene levels, and a reduction in yard time to half an hour every three days. The office called for an end to suppression operations and the provision of treatment, food, and hygiene supplies, warning of the repercussions of the deteriorating health and humanitarian conditions.
