"Total Loser": Trump Attacks News Host – and Doesn't Hold Back

U.S. President Donald Trump published a scathing post against news host Bill Maher, calling him a "total and complete loser" and a "wretched person," in response to Maher's comments about low approval ratings. The post, over 1,300 words long, was published on Truth Social.

U.S. President Donald Trump published last night (Sunday to Monday) an unusually harsh and lengthy post on the social network Truth Social, in which he attacked American news host Bill Maher. In the post, spanning over 1,300 words, Trump called Maher a "total and complete loser" and a "wretched person," describing him as "very nervous and insecure" during their first meeting. The attack came in response to Maher's claim that Trump has "the lowest approval rating ever for a midterm candidate." Trump dismissed these claims as "fake polls," citing CNN polls showing 98-99% support among Republicans. The president denied a rumor spread by Maher about his intention to turn the briefing room into a swimming pool, and concluded by stating he would never watch Maher's show, which he called "fake news."
