This is Sodom: When the law ceases to be equal for all and injustice becomes the system

Attorney Guy Bosi attacks in an opinion column Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara for selective enforcement in the foreign influence affair: while investigations were opened against right-wing figures, in the current affair she expands immunity to parliamentary aides and prevents an investigation. Bosi warns of erosion of public trust in the judicial system.

Attorney Guy Bosi, in an opinion column on Walla, attacks Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara for what he calls selective enforcement in the suspicions of foreign influence on the elections. According to him, while in cases against right-wing figures (May Golan, QatarGate, Sde Teiman, Tali Gottlieb) investigations were opened without delay, in the current affair the Attorney General imposed a far-reaching interpretation of parliamentary immunity, preventing the investigation of aides to Knesset members from the Joint List. Bosi argues that immunity applies only to the Knesset member himself, not to his employees, and cites President Barak's ruling. He warns that this conduct erodes public trust in the judicial system and creates a sense of inequality.
