The sacrifice campaign in Iran: The regime is recruiting the public ahead of a possible war

The Iranian regime is expanding its sacrifice campaign to recruit the public, with religious seminars, support rallies and small-arms training. At the same time, there are reports of women and children training in sniper fire, and protests against the regime continue.

The Iranian regime is expanding and renewing its sacrifice campaign, apparently in an effort to recruit the public ahead of a possible war. As part of the campaign, Iranian media is dealing with religious seminars on the duty of sacrifice, covering marches and support rallies by women, clerics and students encouraged by mayors and governors, and also dealing with day and night drills in small arms and first aid. At the same time, the Wall Street Journal reported that Revolutionary Guards personnel visit kindergartens, hang billboards teaching the use of sniper rifles, and train women in guerrilla warfare and operating drones. The authorities claim that 32 million Iranians have enlisted in the sacrifice apparatus. The Iranian president said he would be the first to sacrifice himself. Alongside this, protests against the regime continue: dozens of demonstrators were arrested at a protest against the Islamic Republic in the city of Mimeh in Isfahan province, shouting: 'Incompetent officials - resign.' The campaign shows preparations for a renewed war with the United States and regional countries, as in the US too the pace of preparations is increasing and action plans have been completed for the possibility that President Trump will order the renewal of significant military operations in the Iranian arena.
