The family of Haimnot Kasau, the girl who disappeared from the absorption center in Safed in February 2024, arrived today (Tuesday) at the absorption center to vote in the Knesset elections. According to family members, upon arrival they discovered that a sign calling for Haimnot's return had been removed and replaced with a sign supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The campaign for Haimnot claims activists vandalized the sign. The identity of those involved is unknown. Benchay Kasau, Haimnot's mother, said: 'My heart is broken. Since I saw the video, I haven't slept a minute, all night I thought maybe they are the ones who took Haimnot.' Also Tsefia Kasau, her father, said: 'My heart breaks to see this. To know there are people who care so little about one small girl, that politics is more important to them than my daughter.' Haimnot was last seen on February 25, 2024, when she was nine years old.
