A document presented in the Netanyahu trial describes a conversation between police investigators and journalist Raviv Drucker, in which Drucker expressed willingness to cooperate more extensively if the examination into the prime minister's affairs turned into a full criminal investigation. However, Drucker feared exposing his journalistic sources. The document was presented during the cross-examination of former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit by Netanyahu's defense attorney, Amit Hadad. Mandelblit was asked if he knew about the contact and replied: "I don't recall such a thing." The prosecution objected to presenting the document, claiming it was not familiar from the official investigation materials. Judge Moshe Bar-Am demanded clarifications regarding the claim of privilege.
