The National Planning and Building Committee approved the Ma'ayanot neighborhood plan in Modi'in, which includes 3,575 housing units on an area of about 550 dunams. The neighborhood will be adjacent to the Kramim neighborhood, south of Route 443, and will include two 25-story residential towers alongside mid-rise construction of 5-9 stories. The plan includes about 177 dunams for residential use, about 60 dunams for public institutions, about 20 dunams for open spaces, about 13 dunams for a promenade, and about 101 dunams for public open spaces. The main street in the neighborhood will cross from east to west and will include mixed uses of residential, commercial, and employment. The article does not include the voices of residents or opponents, nor does it compare the scope of the plan to previous projects.
