Simcha Rothman on the judicial system: "A corrupt power that is destroying the State of Israel"

MK Simcha Rothman criticized the judicial system in an interview on Channel 14 following Mandelblit's testimony, calling it "a corrupt power that is destroying the State of Israel," and warned against small right-wing parties losing votes in the elections.

MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism) was interviewed on Channel 14's special broadcast with Dana and Ron, and harshly attacked the judicial system following the testimony of former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit in the Netanyahu trial. Rothman called the judicial system "a corrupt power that is destroying the State of Israel," and claimed that according to Mandelblit's own definitions, he should be indicted for bribery. He compared the Mandelblit-journalist relationship to the Netanyahu-Elovitch affair. At the opening of the interview, Rothman bid farewell to social activist Shafi Paz, who passed away, describing her as a fighter. Ahead of the elections, Rothman warned against small right-wing parties losing votes if they fail to pass the electoral threshold, and said that Religious Zionism had proposed a merger to Ofer Winter, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and Noam, but most refused.
