Settlers attack Abu Falah village under army guard

Local sources reported that a group of armed settlers attacked homes on the outskirts of the village and attempted to break into several of them, while residents confronted them. They stated that occupation forces fired live ammunition at the residents during their confrontation with the attack, coinciding with the forces' incursion into the village and deployment in several of its neighborhoods. In a related context, armed settlers attempted to break into the home of the principal of Turmus Ayya school, Muhammad Arif Muslim, in the Khirbet al-Marajim area between the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Duma. This coincided with the continued incursion of occupation forces into the town of Silwad east of Ramallah and the establishment of a military checkpoint in the center of the town and another at the entrance of Deir Jarir. Villages and towns east of Ramallah are witnessing an escalation in attacks by settlers and occupation forces. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, occupation soldiers and settlers carried out 2,030 attacks during the past month of August, including 1,402 attacks carried out by occupation forces and 628 attacks carried out by settlers.
