Palestinian woman Hakima Khalayla (58) sustained bruises and contusions to her chest after terrorist settlers attacked her in front of her home in Khirbet al-Kharaba in the town of As-Samu, south of Hebron, on Monday. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her son Ismail Khalayla told the Palestinian news agency Wafa that the settlers beat his mother in front of her home, noting that she suffers from several chronic diseases. This attack is part of the escalating terrorist attacks carried out by settler gangs, under the protection of the Israeli army, against unarmed Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee documented 482 attacks by terrorist settler gangs and the occupation army in the month of October alone, most of which focused on attacking Palestinians during their olive harvest on their lands. In this context, Amnesty International, on October 20, stated that Israel is pursuing a policy of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank through government-backed settler violence, and called on countries to impose sanctions on Israeli officials involved in serious violations of international law.
