Comedian and screenwriter Manny Aseig sharply attacked a user on X named Tal Rosenberg, after he posted a tweet boasting about ending a meeting with a woman upon discovering she votes for Likud. Aseig responded: "This entire disgusting tweet is meant to boost your ego, that you supposedly dumped someone who really wanted you, which sounds very imaginary and fictional," and added: "You really don't look like someone a normal woman could want." Rosenberg described in his tweet that the woman was surprised by his decision and reminded him that a democratic state allows different opinions, and he replied with an analogy about farting in an elevator. The post drew critical reactions online, including from a user who defined herself as someone who loathes Likud. Rosenberg defended his decision and emphasized it was about principles.
