Religious Zionism attacks Eisenkot: "You called for surrender to Hamas"

The Religious Zionism party launched a sharp counterattack against the "Yashar" party led by Gadi Eisenkot, following the establishment of a new religious-nationalist headquarters headed by Matan Kahana. Candidate Reut Ben Haim attacked Kahana and claimed that for three years he and his friends called for stopping the war and surrendering to Hamas, and now they are criticizing.

The Religious Zionism party launched a sharp counterattack following the establishment of a new religious-nationalist headquarters within the "Yashar" party led by Gadi Eisenkot. The new headquarters, aimed at attracting votes from Religious Zionism, is headed by former Knesset member Matan Kahana. Religious Zionism identifies that the move is intended to erode their support base and assesses that the headquarters is trying to attract undecided voters by combining security messages with an agenda defined as state-liberal. The one who led the harsh response line was Reut Ben Haim, a candidate for the party, who directly attacked Kahana. "For three years, Matan Kahana together with his friends Eisenkot, Lieberman, and Golan called on the State of Israel to stop the war," Ben Haim said. She added: "They called for withdrawal and surrender to Hamas, and now they allow themselves to criticize that we haven't finished the job?!" and concluded with a rhetorical question: "Do they think we've all forgotten?"
