Medina was shopping when she encountered a group of about 20 to 25 people, who hurled accusations and shouted anti-Zionist slogans, including 'child murderer, get out' and 'we don't want Zionists in my country.' Police and medical teams were called to the scene, the mall was evacuated, and Medina was escorted out by security personnel. An investigation has been opened to clarify the incident. Medina is facing criticism on social media in Turkey over claims that her children serve in the IDF and that she provides tourism services to Israeli soldiers.
