The Beit Lessin Theater has staged the comedy "My Happy Day" (Mon jour de chance) by Patrick Haudecœur and Gérald Sibleyras. The play premiered at the Théâtre Fontaine in Paris in September 2024, and in 2025 it received two nominations for the Molière Award, including Best Comedy. The Israeli production was directed by Moshe Naor, with translation from French by Eli Bijaui. The plot revolves around Alex, who gets the chance to redo the decisions of his youth by rolling a die. At the center of the ensemble cast is Kobi Faraj as Alex, known from the series "Pajamas." The cast also includes Yuval Yanai, Adi Gilat, Yael Vakstein, and Dor Elmakayes. The direction and set design by Zeev Levi create dynamic action governed by the rule of three unities. The play suggests that regret over the past can prevent one from appreciating real life.
