Organizations, individuals honored for promoting principles of Abraham Accords

The Ambassadors' Club of Israel held an event marking six years of the Abraham Accords, honoring organizations and individuals for promoting civilian cooperation across the region. The event, titled "Voices from the Field," focused on initiatives connecting communities, local authorities, businesses, and religious leaders. Honorees included co-founders of ViaCity, vice president of the Israel–Morocco Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and rabbis from the Jerusalem Interfaith Center, among others. Ambassador Yitzhak Eldan emphasized the importance of civilian initiatives in sustaining the relationships opened by the accords.

The Ambassadors' Club of Israel held an event on Saturday evening marking six years of the Abraham Accords, honoring organizations and individuals for promoting civilian cooperation across the region. The event, titled "Voices from the Field," was held in partnership with the Israel–Morocco Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ViaCity – The Center for City Diplomacy. Honorees included Moran Burstein and Einat Levi, co-founders of ViaCity; Prof. Daniel Rouach, vice president of the Israel–Morocco Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Rabbi Dr. Yakov Nagen and Rabbi Dr. Aharon Ariel Lavi of the Jerusalem Interfaith Center; Tom Vizel, founder of WeAreMENA; and Stav Bar Shany, co-creator of Women Champions for Change. Ambassador Yitzhak Eldan, the club's president, said civilian initiatives were essential to sustaining the relationships the agreements opened. The event also featured a joint performance by Moroccan musician Anas Belhachmi and Israeli musician Eilon Berger. Einat Levi said the gathering highlighted cooperation that had continued despite the regional crisis, bringing a message of hope.
