Ongoing Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon: airstrikes, artillery shelling, and intensive drone flights
Israel continues its attacks on southern Lebanon since Saturday morning, including airstrikes, explosions, artillery shelling, and intensive drone flights. Six locations in the districts of Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun were targeted, and two drones exploded in two houses in Mays al-Jabal without injuries. The attacks come after technical military meetings in Tampa, USA, without any announcement of progress.
Since Saturday morning, Israel has continued its attacks on various areas in southern Lebanon, with its aircraft launching airstrikes and the army carrying out explosions and machine-gun sweeping operations, alongside intensive drone flights. The attacks targeted at least six locations in the districts of Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that a raid targeted the area between the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tibnit, while another raid targeted the outskirts of the town of Braachit. In the Marjayoun district, the Israeli army carried out an explosion in the town of Talousa, and conducted machine-gun sweeping operations from the direction of the town of Khiam towards agricultural lands in the town of Ibl al-Saqi. A raid targeted the area between the towns of Adchit al-Qusayr and Taybeh. In Mays al-Jabal, two Israeli drones exploded in two houses on Saturday afternoon without causing any injuries, according to the Lebanese agency. The area between the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Mays al-Jabal was also subjected to intermittent artillery shelling. Israeli drone flights extended to the city of Tyre and its surrounding towns, reaching both banks of the Litani River in the Qasimiya area, and have been ongoing since the morning hours over the southern suburb of Beirut. These attacks come after technical military meetings held between Israel and Lebanon on October 20 and 21 in Tampa, USA, without any announcement of tangible progress.
