Over the weekend, the IDF doubled its alert level in the north, deploying the 36th and 91st divisions on the Golan Heights and in southern Lebanon. According to sources in Lebanon, Hezbollah has received a green light from Iran to raise its alert and prepare for war against the IDF. A military source said Iran is behind the escalation and the creation of regional tension, and is trying to create a unification of fronts that includes the Houthis in Yemen, activity in the Strait of Hormuz, and an attempt to influence young people in Judea and Samaria to carry out attacks. The IDF reports an increase in the number of warnings about attacks in the West Bank in recent weeks, and that Duvdevan fighters arrested a terrorist yesterday who was dealing in weapons smuggling in Jenin.
