Not destroying Iran's missiles, drones 'most significant failure,' former CENTCOM deputy cmdr. says

Former CENTCOM deputy commander Robert Harward said the failure to destroy Iran's ballistic missiles and drones is the most significant failure of the war, warning that any Iranian regime loyal to the Islamic Revolution will always seek to restore its capabilities, including nuclear weapons.

Former US Central Command deputy commander Rear-Adm. (ret.) Robert Stiles Harward Jr. told KAN News that the failure of the US and Israel to destroy Iran's ballistic missile and drone capabilities is 'probably the most significant failure' of the war. He described these as Iran's main means of threatening American forces, Israel, and the region, and said they are a primary obstacle to international support for the Iranian population. Harward stated that the Trump administration maintains complete control of the operational pace and is using successful deception. He noted that financial strangulation is causing severe internal shocks in Iran, and Trump can wait and attack whenever he wants. Harward ruled out a nuclear attack as a last resort, citing conventional alternatives like blockading trade routes and using MOAB bombs. He stressed that any Iranian regime loyal to the Islamic Revolution will always have the motivation to restore its capabilities, including nuclear weapons if given the chance.
