Netanyahu's associate against Eisenkot: "He supports 30% exemption for Haredim" | i24NEWS exclusive
i24NEWS exclusive: Karen Turner, a senior figure in 'Together' and close to Netanyahu, attacks Gadi Eisenkot in recordings over his experience, his support for a draft exemption for Haredim and his stance on Qatar. The remarks are made despite the bloc's non-aggression agreement.
i24NEWS exclusive: our Knesset correspondent Amiel Yarchi revealed this evening (Saturday) on 'The Weekend Magazine' with Michal Rabinovich exclusive recordings of Karen Turner, a senior figure in the 'Together' party and close to Naftali Netanyahu, in which she attacks Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the 'Yashar!' party. The remarks are made despite the agreement between the bloc's leaders not to attack one another until after the elections. In the recordings, Turner attacks Eisenkot on three fronts: first, she questions his public experience compared with that of Netanyahu, who served as prime minister and in three ministries. Second, she claims that Eisenkot supports a 30% draft exemption for Haredim, contrary to her party's position. Third, she defines Qatar as an "enemy state" and wonders how a party can fail to agree with her on that. Her words join the implied attack by MK Meirav An Ari that was revealed last Thursday on i24NEWS. The 'Together' party said in response that they are working in coordination to enlarge the bloc and achieve victory, and that in the next government they will make sure to close the money taps for draft dodgers and transfer it to those who serve.
