Regional and international moves to contain the escalation with Iran and open dialogue paths continue, alongside escalating mutual threats between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv. In this context, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces warned the United States and Israel of harsher responses than before to any new miscalculation on their part. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that his country's goal is to eliminate the Iranian threat and topple the regime in Tehran. US President Donald Trump said that if Netanyahu does not win the elections, the United States will have to continue the mission against Iran on its own. In the context of international moves, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Tehran on Monday on his first visit since the war in the region began, as part of Moscow's efforts to play a mediating role to end the conflict. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei confirmed that the talks between the two sides will cover "regional and international developments." Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein also discussed regional developments and peace paths with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.
