Magen David Adom inaugurated 96 new ambulances at its Ramla headquarters on Thursday, marking its 96th year of operations. The vehicles were donated by supporters in seven countries and will join the fleet of approximately 2,000 ambulances across Israel to strengthen emergency response.

Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical service, inaugurated 96 new ambulances at its headquarters in Ramla on Thursday, marking the organization's 96th year of lifesaving operations. The ceremony was attended by Michel Katorza, president of the MDA European Friends Association, and MDA Director-General Eli Bin, alongside employees and volunteers. The ambulances were donated by supporters in the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium and Australia through MDA's international friends' associations. The new vehicles will be deployed across Israel to strengthen emergency medical response, reduce response times, and support teams during routine operations and times of crisis. Bin stated that the new ambulances will join the fleet of approximately 2,000 ambulances already operating across the country, and thanked the donors for their work in strengthening MDA's mission of saving lives.
