In the evening hours the check ended without finding suspicious objects, and the Jewish community center announced that all students and staff are safe and that the students were reunited with their families. The threat was received in a phone call to the school. The local CBS station reported a heavy police presence and traffic congestion in the area. The organization StopAntisemitism addressed the incident on X and called for the perpetrator to be brought to justice. The Donna Klein school teaches students from kindergarten through twelfth grade and combines general studies with Jewish and Hebrew studies. This is not the first bomb threat recorded at the institution; in January 2014 the school was placed on alert following a threatening email.
