Chefs Avi Konforti and Shahar Levi tasted the lemon chicken dish from three major chains as part of the 'Gilboa Index' of i24NEWS, and were disappointed by all of them. The first dish, from Chuka at a price of 54 shekels, was described as greasy ('like a donut') with dry chicken. The second dish, from China Town, also 54 shekels, was described as having flat flavors. The third dish, from Giraffe at a price of 69 shekels, ranked first but still drew criticism: the chicken was served as schnitzel, and the sauce was more noticeable but not satisfying. The chefs unanimously determined: Giraffe in first place, China Town and Chuka tied for last.
