KKL-JNF prepares to evacuate the outpost established near Nahal Oz. Activists: "We will move, until we reach Gaza"

KKL-JNF and the police are preparing to evacuate the outpost established by 'Nachala' activists in the Shimchoni Forest near Nahal Oz. The evacuation is expected next week, and the activists intend to move to another location in the Gaza envelope until they reach Gaza.

About three weeks after activists of the 'Nachala' movement established an unauthorized outpost in the Shimchoni Forest, between Kfar Gaza and Nahal Oz, KKL-JNF and the police are preparing to evacuate the families. Last Tuesday, police officers and KKL-JNF representatives conducted a tour of the area, and the evacuation is expected to take place next week. The activists, who defined the outpost as an 'intermediate destination for settlement in Gaza', announced that they will not vacate the area until settlement is established in the Strip, but said they will not resist the evacuation and will move to another location in the Gaza envelope. The outpost was established without permission on KKL-JNF land and includes caravans, infrastructure, a synagogue, a kindergarten, and a school. The Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council called for enforcing the law in the area. The involved parties hope to reach agreements with the activists to avoid a forcible evacuation.
