It's now official: A renovation and evacuation plan in northern Israel that will change the city's map
The local planning and building committee in Acre approved advancing a renovation and evacuation plan on One Ha'am and Bavel streets. Under the plan, 56 existing housing units will be demolished and 366 new units will be built in buildings of 10–16 stories. Developer Ayla Agam is leading the project in collaboration with SO Architects. Mayor Ohad Shegev welcomed the decision.
